A family dinner

FamiSafe is the parental control app from Wondershare (Shenzhen, China), the company behind Filmora. It does what you'd expect from a complete parental control: screen time, app blocking, web filters, activity reports, location with zones and arrival alerts and, since version 9 (January 2026), AI-powered supervision of around thirty social networks.

What it costs

It has no permanent free plan. As of October 14, 2026, its website lists $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, and the App Store in Spain lists €59.99 or €89.99 a year depending on the plan. It covers 5 to 10 devices depending on the plan.

Who it's for

If you want to supervise a child's or preteen's phone in depth, it's a serious tool. If you want the same thing from a European company subject to the GDPR, Qustodio (Barcelona) does the same, and Family Link covers the basics for free on Android. For a family with teens aged 14 or older, a partner, or older parents, a parental control isn't the right tool: what works there is symmetry and consent, and that's what Mi Estela vs. FamiSafe is about.
