Mi Estela vs Qustodio
Two Spanish apps for two different things: Qustodio oversees a child's phone (time, apps, content) and locates them along the way; Mi Estela doesn't oversee anyone, it keeps the family present.
In two lines
Parental control born in Barcelona: screen time, apps, filters, AI-powered alerts, and a family locator with arrival alerts. Free plan for one device.
What is Qustodio
Qustodio was born in Barcelona (Qustodio Technologies SL) and has been part of the Qoria group since 2022. It's parental control: screen-time limits, app blocking, web filtering, alerts for messages and AI-flagged searches, social media monitoring and, on the Complete plan, call and SMS monitoring. It includes a family locator with alerts when the child arrives at or leaves saved places. It says it supports nine million families.
