🚐 Vans and campers
Van life: where do I stop tonight?
RV areas and campsites near you, what time it gets dark, tonight's low, and the nearest water and dump stations. No ads and no paywall to see them.
Losing daylight while looking for a spot is the worst part of van life. Mi Estela tells you how much sun you have left to get there, park, and set up, what the night will be like where you're sleeping, and where to find water, dump stations, and showers. And it never tells you a spot is off-limits—it shares what other campers share ("three of us got moved along from here").
All of this already works
What Estela does for you on the road
Safety is free. Always. Where to sleep, water, dump stations, and letting your people know—never costs a thing. There's nothing paid here yet: it's all yours.

Daylight left
What time it gets dark here and how much sun you have left to arrive, park, and set up. Losing daylight while looking for a spot is the worst.
What the night will be like
Tonight's low at the spot where you're sleeping, and whether it'll rain or blow while you're asleep.
They didn't let me stay here
One tap when you get woken up, and the map grows for everyone. We never say something's off-limits—we share what people share.
Camper-sealed
No stars and no reviews: who slept here, who'd come back, and what it was like. Nobody pays to show up first—ever.
Drinking water
The spots where you can fill your tank, even if they don't have a name on the map.
Dump stations
Dump points in your area. I search up to 25 miles out, because in dry country there might not be another one closer.
Showers and laundry
Public and campsite showers, and where to do a load of laundry.
A mechanic who gets campers
Caravan workshops and diesel mechanics who know their way around big vans. In small towns there are no camper shops—and we're not going to pretend there are.
I've stopped for the night
One tap and your people know you're okay. I don't tell them where—that's yours to share if you want.
Other vans in your area
Only if you open up, and only while you want to. Never your exact spot, and to chat you both have to accept each other.
Your van's measurements
Height, length, width, and weight—entered once, ready for the parking garage clearance, the ferry, and the weigh station. They stay on your phone and nobody uploads them.
Will you fit?
Height limits nearby, with your number right next to the sign's. It warns—it doesn't guarantee: some signs are still missing from the open map, and the one on the road always wins.
I'm going to be out of signal
I tell your people BEFORE, so your silence doesn't scare them. We don't have a cell tower map and we're not going to make one up.
We answer your questions
Frequently asked questions
Do you say whether overnight parking is banned at a spot?
No, never. We don't know which local ordinance applies in each town, and one mistake on our part means a fine for someone. We share what people share: who slept here, who'd come back, and whether anyone got moved along.
What does "camper-sealed" mean?
No stars and no reviews: who slept here, who'd come back, and what it was like. Nobody pays to show up first—ever.
