🧡 Parents of teenagers

For parents of teenagers: know they're okay without hovering

An alert when they get to school or home, their battery level so a dead phone doesn't scare you, and an SOS just in case. Plus a Pact you both see the same way: whatever you see about them, they see about you.

What's going on, and what Mi Estela does about it

From worry to peace of mind

"Did they make it to school yet?"

Save the school as one of your usual spots and get an alert when they arrive. Three spots with free alerts, forever.

"Their phone is off and I'm freaking out"

If they share their battery, you can see it's running low before it dies. And you see their last location with the time it was updated, so you know whether it's from just now or a while ago.

"I don't want to be the parent who spies"

Mi Estela is symmetric: each person sees the same thing about the other, never one-sided. Your teen always knows they're sharing and chooses how they appear. That's what sets us apart from surveillance apps.

"What if something happens?"

The SOS alerts the circle with their location and puts 112 one tap away. It works even without signal: it queues up and sends as soon as coverage comes back.

What you'll actually use

The Pact

The conversation where the family decides together how they want to stay present: Connected (they know where I am), At ease (they know I'm okay), or Silent (I share when I want). You set the terms together, and you renegotiate on birthdays.

How it works →

Arrival alerts

Home, school, practice. An alert when they arrive, without them having to type a thing.

How it works →

What a minor sees and what they don't

Between the minimum digital consent age in their country and 18, minor accounts share at least their general area: they can't go fully invisible. And an adult in the circle authorizes social features.

How it works →

SOS

A button that alerts your people with your location, with a cancelable countdown so it doesn't go off by accident. Always free.

How it works →

Chat, calls, and video calls

Inside the circle, private, without leaving the app. The ringtone sounds even if the app is closed.

How it works →

Behind the wheel

If they get a scooter at fifteen, the Behind the wheel world: the route that avoids highways, a calm "something's wrong" alert, and the first rides they log themselves.

What Mi Estela doesn't do

  • It's not parental control: it doesn't block apps, limit screen time, read messages, or listen through the microphone.
  • It doesn't work below the digital consent age in each country (14 in Spain): a 10-year-old can't have an account.
  • It doesn't score their driving or alert you about speeding.
  • There's no secret history: each person turns on their trail, for whoever they choose, and turns it off whenever they want.

We answer your questions

Frequently asked questions

How old does my kid have to be to use Mi Estela?

Old enough to meet the digital consent age in their country: 14 in Spain (13 in Portugal, 16 in Germany, for example). Below that, they can't create an account. Between that age and 18, an adult in the circle authorizes social features.

Can my teen go invisible?

A minor can't disappear completely: they share at least their general area. They can choose not to give their exact location. Adults can use Ghost Mode.

Is it like Life360?

It's similar in the basics (map, arrival alerts, SOS, chat) and different where it matters: Mi Estela is symmetric, has no ads, doesn't sell or license location data, and doesn't score driving. We break it all down in the comparison.

How much does it cost?

Everything you need to know your teen is okay is free forever: map, arrival alerts for three spots, SOS, battery, chat, and calls. Premium is optional (30-day history instead of 3, more spots with alerts) and is paid per circle: one person pays, the whole family gets it.
