Life360 Alternatives in Spain (2026): Options and Differences
If Life360 doesn't convince you (because of the ads, the data or the price), there are alternatives, and some are already on your phone. What each one offers for free, what it costs, what it does with your data and who it suits, with dates and sources.

Life360 is the world's biggest family location app and the most searched one in Spain. It also raises the most questions: it carries ads on the free plan, its privacy policy says it licenses precise geolocation to partners, and the prices inside the app don't always match the ones on its website. If you're looking for a Life360 alternative, these are the ones that make sense in Spain, with what each one costs. We're one of them, and we say so; that's why every figure for the others comes with its date and source.
First, what Life360 gives you too much of, or not enough of
The right alternative depends on why you're leaving:
- Because of the ads or the data: look for one with no ads that doesn't license your location.
- Because of the price: check what you already have for free on your phone before paying for anything.
- Because your home has both iPhone and Android: rule out anything that only works on one.
- Because your kids are already teenagers: look for something symmetrical, where they see the same things you do.
The alternatives, one by one
Find My: free if everyone has an iPhone
It comes on the iPhone, has no ads, and shares location for one hour, until the end of the day, or indefinitely, with alerts when someone arrives at or leaves a place. Its limit: there's no Android version, no chat, and no group SOS. How to use it for the family and Life360 vs Find My.
Google Maps and Find Hub: free, across iPhone and Android
Location sharing in Google Maps works on both systems, for a set time or until you turn it off, and the people who share with you also appear in Find Hub. For a child with Android, Family Link adds free parental controls. There's no SOS and no chat. Find Hub vs Find My.
WhatsApp: for a while, not forever
Real-time location for 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours, encrypted and in groups. It's free and everyone already has it, but it switches off on its own and doesn't alert you when people arrive. When WhatsApp is enough.
iSharing: the closest to Life360 on a budget
Circles, up to a year of history, and an inactivity alert for seniors. Free with ads; as of October 14, 2026, on the Spanish App Store, Silver is €4.99/month and Gold is €6.99/month or €59.99/year. iSharing, explained.
Find My Kids: for young children
Designed for a first phone or a GPS watch: zones, SOS, and chat. It has a feature to listen through the child's phone microphone ("Sonido Entorno"). As of October 14, 2026, on its Spanish website, it costs €39.99/year (Cuidar) or €54.99/year (Plus). Find My Kids, explained.
GeoZilla: Life360 in spirit
Circles, alerts, driving reports, and crash detection. Watch the price: as of October 14, 2026, its Spanish listing showed weekly subscriptions of €11.99 to €12.99, monthly ones of €13.99 to €20.99, and an annual one at €76.99. GeoZilla, explained.
Glympse: sharing for a while through a link
You send a link and the other person sees you in their browser, with nothing to install, for anywhere from 5 minutes to 12 hours. Free, with Premium purchases on the App Store. It isn't a permanent circle. Glympse, explained.
Mi Estela: presence, not surveillance
A family app made in Spain, for iPhone and Android, with no ads, that doesn't sell or license location and keeps data in the European Union. Free forever: location sharing, live map, SOS, chat, calls and video calls, arrival alerts for 3 spots, and 3 days of history. Premium raises the limits (30 days of history, more spots with alerts) and costs €9.99/month or €99.99/year per whole circle, with a 14-day trial: one person pays and everyone has it. Each person chooses whether they appear precisely, by zone, or in Ghost mode, and nobody sees more than anyone else. From age 14. What it doesn't have, on purpose: driving reports or crash detection.

Which one to choose
- The whole family has iPhones and you just want to see each other: Find My, free.
- A while, a trip, a meetup: WhatsApp or Google Maps.
- A child under 12 with their first phone: parental controls (Family Link or Apple's Family Sharing).
- A blended family, with teenagers or grandparents, who wants arrival alerts and SOS without ads: a circle app. If you want to know which one suits you, the two-minute quiz will tell you, and the direct comparison is in Mi Estela vs Life360.
